Sometimes my crit bud
just has to point out
I sound like the man
that we're talking about.
Books by the dozen,
books by the ton,
this author has sold
one kabillion and one.
Have you guessed yet?
Do you know who
has a birthday today,
You have just one more clue.
He's a master of story,
a big silly goose.
You finally guessed it,
the great Dr. Seuss!
My kids adore Dr. Seuss, and I must confess he's a fun read. In honor of his birthday, tell me which one of his books is your favorite. As for me, I'll forever love Green Eggs and Ham.

Oh, I can't remember the name of it but the kids had me reread the one with the dogs and crazy hat all the time.
Happy Birthday, Theodore!
My favorite Dr. Seuss book is "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut." Mostly because it has a signpost in one of the pictures that says Salina, Kansas (My hometown.)
I also love The Sneetches, The Lorax, Hop on Pop, The Foot Book, One Fish-Two Fish, Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, and so many more. My daughter votes for The Foot Book as her favorite, and my son says Oh, The Places You Can Go.
Least favorite is There's a Jerkin in the Curtain, or something like that. Still scares me!! lol
FAVORITE is The Thinks You Can Think
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! I love his books. One of my favorites is the Sleep Book. It always made me more sleepy than my kids, which struck them as very funny. I was always yawning by the end.
I'll have to look for The Sleep Book and The Thinks You Can Think--haven't read those yet! Perhaps a trip to the library is in order today. Plus I have to figure out which one has the dogs and hats. Hmm.
I'm thinking it might be Go Dog Go. That is a Dr. Seuss one, isn't it?
Oh yeah! I think that's the one with the dog in the race car on the cover? I know the title.
Makes me want to go read to the kids instead of slogging through my WIP, LOL!
I can't find my box of unpacked Dr. Seuss books or the one of the Berenstain Bears or my favorite framed family photo! Oh, well! Happy birthday Dr. Suess!
