THE WORST APRIL FOOL'S JOKE EVER

Thankfully my husband isn't a prankster, and neither am I. Friends in the past have pulled some doozies, like resetting all the clocks in the house a few hours early and pretending like nothing was different while their spouse dragged their carcasses out of bed to go to work. (That's my favorite.)

Since that super-virus hasn't impacted computers on the level everyone feared (at least not yet) we were wondering if that could be an elaborate joke--for which the perps ought to go to jail! You don't even want to know how much time I spent fretting over that.

It got me to thinking, what would be the absolute worst April Fool's joke someone could play on me?  And I figured it out:

for my agent to call and said I got a contract.

Can you imagine that?!?!?!  Good thing I don't know anyone that sadistic.

OK, what's the worst joke you've ever played on someone, or that someone could play on you?

Oh, that would be sad, I agree.

I'm afraid I'm not much of a jokester, and not very creative, either. The cutest April fools joke I remember being played on me, though, was the April fools after we planted our miniature apple tree in our front yard. In no way was it mature enough to grow apples, but our neighbours dumped a bag of tiny apples on the ground beneath our tree. When I came home from work and found the apples, I was mystified as to how they got there. The fessed up a day or two later. Mocking our poor tree, of all the nerve!

I don't pay attention to the date much so my husband's usually telling me that the White Sox made some huge trade and I fall for it.

But this year he hasn't done a thing. So hm, maybe it's my turn to get him. >:D

Yesterday, my sister's guy friend told her he was going to be a daddy, by some girl he only knew for a FEW days!!! Not even a girlfriend - definitely wasn't funny!!!! She was so mad because he kept it up for hours.

Ooo, that is NOT funny.

My daughter said that one of her friend's got "asked out" by a guy, and it turned out to be a joke.

Some people!
