IN ADDITION TO PLOTTING...

....I spent the weekend re-reading Writing the Breakout Novel.

It's been years since I've devoured the pages talking about premise and character and what consitutes a breakout novel. Talk about great preparation for NANO! I've already made a few adjustments to the book I plan to whip out in November. (HAHA, how often can you say "whip out" in reference to writing a book?)

I know I've put out a call for NANO buddies before, but I'm doing it again since I still don't know how to find people on the silly forum. My name is:

Thanks for the ACFW member group. I'll join that too.

Preparation is slow going for me, but I'm getting there. I'm still trying to wrap up my current almost-finished first draft ms. Must get that done by midnight Saturday, to start in on NaNo's.

Oh man, wish I could do this, but I couldn't even write 1000 words the other week. I just don't have the time with working and homeschooling, sigh! Though I might try to do my own unofficial Nano. Not sure yet, maybe if I can find some weekend writing time, but weekends are busy as well!
