COUNTDOWN....
It's almost the New Year, and I'm doing a few things to get prepared:
*Printing off new calendar sheets, both to keep track of writing goals and for paying bills
*Re-adjusting some homeschool stuff, and printing off memory verse sheets and math sheets, rather than scrambling for them in the morning
*Praying about 2010 goals--more about the goals on Monday!
*Transferring b-days and other important dates to new family calendar
*Cleaning, organizing, sorting, tossing--nothing better to kick off a new year than a clean home! Plus, hubby wanted room for his massage chair, which I originally said we DID NOT HAVE ROOM FOR--but now I must confess I'm enjoying it more than he is. Shhh....don't tell.

LOL, not quite my goals yet...just what I'm doing before the year winds down. Glad to see this year behind me :D
It's been a hectic couple of weeks for me. So, tomorrow I will take time just to relax. Fri. will take down the tree and decorations to get back to normal.Happy New Year to you!

Georgiana, I cleaned out and organized my closet! It really helped me to think plot as I dusted and stuffed and tossed.
Tomorrow we are square dancing and eating out and there's really not much to do except relax and wait!!

YIKES! We're supposed to do something to get ready for the new year! I'm still writing my Christmas...er... New Year's letter...from LAST YEAR! I'm mostly taking it easy because I know school is starting up soon. I should probably set some homeschool goals, but I'm going to wing it...probably! Maybe I should pull out our Bible memory color pages again! I've got lots of things going on in my mind, probably should make a list. But I hate lists...not sure why. Maybe that'll be my goal next year, to make lists!
Wow, you are great with your organizing! I really need to get more organized, myself. That being said, I'm not doing much to get ready for 2010. I do have a goal written on my blog with regard to my writing though. Just hope I can stick to it longer than a week, lol!
Oh Patti--how I wish I'd finished cleaning my closets. For some reason this keeps coming back to haunt me. Have fun square dancing :D

Actually I'm doing a lot of the same things you're doing. My monitor died on my computer so replacing it was a priority today, but now that it's done, I'm just gearing up for 2010. Happy New Year, Georgiana!
