I KNOW I'M REALLY SHALLOW BUT....
I'm so excited for Dancing with the Stars. LOL!!! Since the dance portion is on Monday night I don't get to see the whole thing, but you can bet your sweet dance shoes I tune in when I can.
There's something so predictably unpredictable about the stars who suit up and take to the parquet floor that I'm riveted. Admittedly, some of the outfits are scandalous, and I try to keep the kidlets occupied doing something else, but I'm hooked.
And I have secret fantasies of twirling the night away and people texting in to vote for me. Only I'm not famous. But 4985734985 seasons from now when I finally hit the bestseller list, it could happen.
So I tried to think of a way to relate this to writing, or to life, and I totally came up empty. Haha! Maybe something will hit me when I am cheering on Kurt Warner and Kyle Massey.
Until then...who are you rooting for? Don't watch DWTS, then which "reality" show DO you watch?

I don't watch DWTS except for a few minutes here and there. The reality show I'm most drawn to is American Idol.
I've watched it and I've adored it!!! I love the elegance when some of them dance, the light hearted feel they all have when they haven't done well (most of them that is)
I think there should be a Dancing with the Writers! What fun would that be??? Have J.K. Rowling, Dean Koontz, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, YOU!

OK ladies, I was a traitor to my own post today....I ended up watching the Vikings tonight. LOL!!! Well, with the way it went, I should've stuck to DWTS.
This is probably the 2nd season I've seen...and the first season I didn't see the whole thing. It's not my favourite show, but there's something about it...
I'm rooting for Jennifer & her partner (not sure his name) and/or Audrina & her partner (again, not sure of his name). Jennifer was my fav from the beginning, but I think Audrina is doing amazingly well for not having any previous lessons or experience.
I've watched DWTS before but not a huge fan unless I really like one of the guest stars. I watched last season until Melissa Joan Hart got booted. My vice is American Idol though I bet this next season will be ridiculous with majority of the original cast gone.
I don't watch DWTS but I do watch So You Think You Can Dance. I also love Project Runway and Top Chef.
I never cared for reality shows until DWTS came on, and I've been an avid follower of both DWTS and SYTYCD since the beginning. I don't care for American Idol, but love these shows (I think it's musical interpretation that I like, because I also enjoy figure skating).
Jennifer is my sentimental favorite and I'd love to see her win. But for me, the professional dancers are the real "stars."
I'm with you on the secret fantasy dancing thing, though I think they should start a new show..."So your mom thinks she can dance!" LOL! Now wouldn't THAT be hilarious!
