HAPPY NANO...I MEAN NOVEMBER!
With the whirlwind of October behind us, it's time to embark on a month of food, fun, and phenomenal word count!
I finished ACFW Novel Track with about 35,600 words. WAY short of where I wanted to be, but enough to feel accomplished. This month I'm ready to pound out 50,000 for NANO and I'm itching to type. Sadly, it will have to wait until school and shopping are done for the day. I don't mind abandoning last month's novel because it was chick lit, so I was writing it for fun and cracking myself up.
Also I'd like to work on controlling my eating habits once again--except on Thanksgiving Day. I've fallen so far off the bandwagon I've been run over by the wagon wheels and left in the mud.
What are your goals for November?

I'm going to take a crack at NaNo this year. I've got 1650 words so far, but I'm hoping to get a lot more today because I have to work tomorrow and probably won't have time to get the daily count in. So, the more I can get today, the less I'll need for tomorrow.
Yay! I'm right there with you on every goal
Fell short of my NovelTrack goal by 5000 words.
Need to crank out 55K in Nov now.
Need to get back on the bandwagon that hit me.
My goal this month is to increase the distance I'm walking. Twice around my block, two times a day for a distance of a mile. Oh, and to clean off the treadmill so I can use that when the weather gets to bad to walk. Right now the treadmill is the repository for items to Big Brother/Big Sister. Good luck with NaNo and have fun!
Cool! Have fun NaNo-ing!
I feel really proud for adding baby carrots to my lunch. That's kind of sad, isn't it? :)
Good for you jumping right in, Shelley!
Erica, that bandwagon is cruel. So glad I am in good company!
CJ, that is great to increase what you're already doing. Make good use of that treadmill ;)
Jill, baby carrots are a favorite around here. Nothing wrong with being excited about eating better :D
Wish I had a treadmill!
I'm doing NaNo too and I'm freaking out. I didn't make it last year, but I have an excuse, really I do, one of my aunts passed away right after Thanksgiving and we'd been waiting all month for that time.
This year feels better. I'm going into to have fun and just write. We'll see how it goes.
Hey--my own comment vanished!
LOL, Betsy--I want one too, but fear I wouldn't use it if it were so convenient =P
Hi Winter! I totally know what it's like when life throws a curve. Looks like you will have a much easier time this year.
