IT SOUNDED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME....

Sometimes you're a gold medal swimmer, cruising into the last lap of the race waiting to feel the rush of success.

And sometimes you're the one wearing the painfully tight swimsuit, leaping from the high-dive and landing with a belly flop.

Guess which one I am today?

LOL, NANO sounded like a good idea at the time, but alas, my belly flop was so big it set off a tsunami. I finished the month with a little over 20,000 words. While not shameful in its own right, it's certainly not medal worthy in NANO-land. In addition to regular holiday stuff, we had two birthdays and I started the part time job I mentioned previously. Word count was not meant to be! But despair not, today marks the start of another month, another set of fresh days to make something happen =)
